Every July, one of my favorite weekends arrives here in Washington County—the Grand Lake Stream Folk Art Festival.

As the owner of Big Lake RV Park & Campground, I've had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from across Maine, New England, and Canada who come to experience this unique celebration of traditional craftsmanship, local culture, and the beauty of Downeast Maine.

What Makes This Festival So Special?

The Grand Lake Stream Folk Art Festival isn't your typical craft fair!

There's a genuine sense of community here that keeps people coming back year after year.

I always encourage visitors not to rush.

Instead of driving in for the day, stay a few nights and explore everything this corner of Maine has to offer.

Supporting local artists is one of the best parts of the experience.
